Bailywick Candles© was born out of a conversation between friends.  like us they loved candles, but were disappointed by the harsh scents and smoky residue that were left behind by mass produced candles.  we wondered why someone had not made a “healthier” candle.

after a bit of research and plenty of trial and error, we were able to combine the purest all natural ingredients from the cotton in our wicks to the fragrant oils we add to our soy wax. After making a few batches we passed them out to our friends, who in turn passed them on to their friends, and so on, and so on …

like they say:  “if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself” … so we did.

at Bailywick Candles©, our motto is …  “if we would not burn it in our home, we would not expect you to burn it in yours”.
